Rush Truck Centers and Parts Connect® Return Policy

This Return Policy governs the acceptance of returns and exchanges for Rush Truck Centers and Parts Connect. Returns and exchanges may be limited at any time for any reason.

Returning/Exchanging an online purchase in-store

Eligible purchases made online via Parts Connect can be returned or exchanged in-store to the Parts Department of any Rush Truck Centers location in the United States. Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase and must be accompanied by the original invoice in order to be accepted. If you made the purchase using a credit card, you must bring the same credit card with you as well as one of the following forms of ID to make a return/exchange in-store: Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, Permanent Resident Card or Border Crossing Card. Part returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Purchases must meet the following conditions to be eligible for in-store return or exchange:

  • Must be packed in original manufacturer's box with no marking or labels on box.
  • Must be returned in new, resalable and uninstalled condition.
  • Must be complete with instructions and all components provided by the manufacturer.
  • Core parts must be returned in their original box.

Refunds

Refunds for credit card purchases will be credited back to the same credit card used on your original order. Refunds for cash, check or debit card payments will be issued via check. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless the return is due to Rush Truck Centers' error.

Returning/Exchanging an Online Purchase By Mail

Eligible purchases made online via Parts Connect can be shipped back to the Rush Truck Centers location the item was originally shipped from once a return has been requested and authorized. Returns must be made within 30 days from the date of purchase and only items that were ordered online and shipped via USPS, UPS or FedEx qualify for return shipping. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return. Part returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Purchases must meet the following conditions to be eligible for a return or exchange by mail:

  • Must be returned in new, resalable and uninstalled condition.
  • Must be complete with instructions and all components provided by the manufacturer.
  • Core parts must be returned in their original box.

Shipping and handling charges from the original online purchase are not refundable unless the return is due to an error on Rush Truck Centers' part.

Returns and exchanges without proof of purchase

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted without proof of purchase, such as an Order Confirmation email or invoice. No store credit or cash refunds will be issued.

Obtaining an online receipt

You can find a copy of your receipt in your Order Confirmation email or by signing into your Parts Connect account and navigating to the "Order History" tab. If you did not create a Parts Connect account and/or cannot locate your receipt or Order Confirmation email, you can contact our RushCare Customer Support Team 24/7 by calling us at 855-787-4223 or emailing us at RushCare@RushEnterprises.com.

Warranty returns and exchanges

Any warranties on items purchased via Parts Connect are set by the manufacturer. Rush Truck Centers does not offer an additional warranty outside of the warranty period set by the manufacturer.

During the manufacturer's warranty period, an item may be exchanged or refunded, at Rush Truck Centers' discretion, if it fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and service after proper installation. The item may be returned along with the original receipt/invoice to any Rush Truck Centers location in the United States. You must be the original purchaser of the part and still own the vehicle on which it was installed.

Refunds

Refunds for credit card purchases will be credited back to the same credit card used on your original order. Refunds for cash, check or debit card payments will be issued via check. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Core part returns

You may be charged a core charge when purchasing a new part to make vehicle repairs. A core charge is a deposit you pay at the time of purchase that will be returned when the defective part you are replacing has been returned. Core parts are typically recycled by manufacturers after thoroughly cleaning and inspecting the usable portions of the part and replacing any worn or damaged components, so that the part may be sold and installed again and function like new.

Core parts purchased online via Parts Connect that required a core charge can be returned in-store at any Rush Truck Centers location throughout the United States or shipped back to the Rush Truck Centers location the item was originally shipped from per the return policies stated above. Core parts must be returned in their original packaging and all fluids must be drained, if applicable. If returning in-store, you must have your original purchase receipt or Order Confirmation email and your credit card used to make the purchase.

Non-returnable items

Some items, such as electrical parts, cannot be returned for a refund, including clearance and "As Is" items. The list below provides a high-level list of items that are classified as non-returnable. This list represents most but not necessarily all non-returnable parts. Contact your local Rush Truck Centers Parts Department for clarification and assistance.

  • Electrical Parts
  • Any Part That Has a Shelf Life, i.e., Batteries, Oil, Paint, Hazardous Materials, etc.
  • Special Order Parts
